• The perimeter of your yard will be sprayed as well as wooded areas and borders, along fence lines, shrubs, beds, ground cover, stone walls, wood piles and brush piles.

• Perimeter spray treatments are eco-friendly because they limit the amount of pesticide being applied by targeting the areas where people most frequently come into contact with ticks.

• The chemicals used for tick control are much less toxic than in the past, and are used in very low concentrations.

• The chemicals do not leach through soil; they are degraded by soil microorganisms within the top 4 cm of the soil surface.
